Le Caveau 30 - Cannes - France

If we fancy a meal out in Cannes, this restaurant would be our first choice. We believe the locals would have the same idea too. This restaurant has a large of selection of French cuisine, seafood, white and also red meat dishes. For us, being near the sea, we would stick with the seafood. They are the best on that. Started with half a dozen of oysters fines de claires no.3 and fried white baits. Light and tasty entrees. Followed by lobster thermidor served saffron rice and simply baked sea bass. Delicious!!
And of course, a lunch would not be complete without a sweet treat. So, we went for mixed of vanilla  and chocolate ice cream with cherry brandy and kirch covered with fresh cherries. A portion was enough for two!! Must try! Phone to make a reservation, they do get busy especially during lunch time.
