Sheraton Hotel - Nuremberg - Germany

Difficult to find due to road works, one would think Sheraton would put out enough signs to assist the weary traveler..

Check in was quick and efficient. The room was average. Ideal for one day stop over not for long stay.

We enjoyed a well deserved meal at Restaurant ‘Tafelhof’ although we were the only customers. The staff were friendly and attentive.

As starter, we had herb cream soup with garlic crouton. Excellent soup but portion was rather large. We also had smoked salmon with dill sauce, that was tasty. Followed by curry sausage with French fries as main course. Very well spiced german sausage, though the curry sauce could have done with less sugar.

To satisfy our sweet tooth, we had raspberry tart, mascarpone and vanilla ice cream and chocolate mousse.

Good all round meal for under €25 a head, great as a stop over hotel but not to holiday, more geared for the business travelers.
