Dante Trattoria - Firenze - Italy

We would describe Dante as a good local restaurant. It opens all day to satisfy your need of local tuscan dishes without emptying your pocket. As soon as you sit down, they will serve freshly baked pizza base with sprinkle of salt and olive oil. Then you will be shown their long list of food on offer. We would recommend you to start with tasty tuscan mix (crusty bread with chicken liver paste, mushroom, tomato and basil, and olive tapenade). Then followed with spaghetti vongole if you are into seafood or spinach risotto. The risotto was not too good, to be honest. It was slightly undercooked and not creamy at all. The portion was generous, though. But, who wants to eat an undercooked risotto??
Did not want to spoil our treat, we compensate the risotto disaster to pizza with spicy salami. That was delicious! Light and tasty!

When it comes to wine, we would suggest you to stick with their own label of red wine. Very good value for money. But if you are white wine lover, then go with Conti D'Arco - Traminer Aromatico. Delicious, light, aromatic and refreshing wine.
If you still have room for dessert then go for profiterol and tiramisu. Or... take a little walk from Dante and pop in to Gelateria around the corner to experience the famous italian ice cream!
