Surabaya Town Square (Sutos) is simply a food heaven. It opens daily 10 am to midnight during the day and up to 2 am every Saturday with live music performance. There are over 30 restaurants to choose from offering mouth watering local Indonesian food, Chinese, Italian, Malaysian and many more. You certainly will not leave the mall with empty stomach.
One of the best cafes and restaurants that we chose was My Kopi O!. Great place to hang out to enjoy a cup of coffee with friends or even having a meal with family. They offer fusion food influenced by Indonesian, Malaysian, Singaporean and Thai cuisine.
Dishes which we have tasted there were; Stir Fried Rissole, Meat Pie Burger and Lemon Grass Chicken Roll. Ideal appetizers to share between a small group of 4 or 5 people. And as main courses, we have tried Stir Fried Udon, Asian Smoked Chicken Fried Rice, Black Pepper Stir Fried Udon, Smoked Beef Salad and Curry Laksa Udon. Tasty food with a hint of spice.
If you are not keen on their selection of coffees, do try Ice Lychee Soda Vanilla, Strawberry Passion Punch or Strawberry Peach Soda. They were so refreshing. Not only to reduce the thirst but also to clear your palate between meals.
For the dessert, we would recommend you to try Thai Pudding. A very unique dessert served in real coconut shell, enough to share between two people. Perfect sweet treat to end your meal.
Note: This mall does get really busy especially on the weekend, make sure you book a table in advance.
